RETURNS:
RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATIONS (RGA) are REQUIRED on all returned goods.  Contact Builders’ Hardware CUSTOMER SERVICE department at 1-800-999-5158 within 45 business days to request an RGA.  Return or cancellation of STOCK MERCHANDISE will incur a 15% restock fee.   All return goods must be in the original packing & in saleable condition.  Return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.

SPECIAL ORDER RETURNS:
At BH&S, we pride ourselves in locating, procuring and expediting (when necessary) SPECIAL ORDER items to fulfill your needs. We encourage every customer to inquire about the return policy of the SPECIAL ORDER item you are purchasing prior to ordering. We charge a minimum 50% restocking fee on all SPECIAL ORDER RETURNS or CANCELLATION.  Returns will be denied where items were specialty keyed, custom made, or factories do not authorize return credits.

SHIPPING DAMAGE OR SHORTAGES:
Our goal at BH&S is to ensure you receive your order complete and undamaged. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt of shipment to check for concealed damage or shortages. Before reporting shortages, please check your packing list for backorders or cancellations. If damaged, keep the original shipping carton. Notify your local carrier and request a consignee inspection and pick-up. Damage claims need to be reported within 3 business days of delivery. Shortages must also be reported to BH&S within 3 business days of the delivery.  BHS is not liable for loss or damage resulting from delay or inability to deliver product due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. severe weather, labor strikes, floods, or other acts of nature).
